Hi Everyone,
I belong to a dog rescue in Denver group called Chihuahua and Small Dog Rescue. We are in touch with other rescue groups in Colorado and I just got the following message from the president of our group:
A small, small dog rescue is being closed down due to no foster parents, being caught over the limit and not being able to handle the number of dogs that she has.
She is very heart broken, but since she is very small she has no choice but to shut down. She has two options, turn dogs over to us, or put them all to sleep. Unfortunately we will not be able to take them all as there at 15 dogs in all that need our help. I told her that we would help in anyway we can, but not sure if we can take them all.
I am waiting on a list of what she has, but in the meantime, please let me know if you can take a dog or two.
Please, if any of you in Colorado were thinking of adopting a small dog or might be in the market, let me know! Also, maybe you know someone in Colorado who is into little dogs or is thinking of getting one - please pass this on to them! I'll send you information on the breeds and other stuff as soon as I have it, but consider opening your heart for a little one on death row!
